SMARTCRM at the top: The CRM system supports the specialist for roof components

For over 20 years, the die MAGE Roof & Building Components GmbH with headquarters in Herzberg, Germany, offers products in the field of roof construction and renovation and system solutions for various applications. The activity field covers the business sectors of roof accessory technology and facades. The range of services in the branch roof components extends from aeration and ventilation systems for hips, ridges and eaves over roof inspection and safety systems to components for the airtight, windproof and rainproof design of roofs and buildings. The primary goal of the CRM implementation is to allow the field service the access to all necessary customer data at any time. So, when on the go, the whole CRM database is available to the field staff offline on their Notebooks. So, the employees see at a glance all activities related to a certain project. While visiting a customer, the sales representative can collect order items in the CRM system and forward them to the back office for further processing.

SMARTCRM focuses on the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland): The CRM manufacturer is now also in Austria

The SMARTCRM GmbH holds a participating interest in the it-consult GmbH. The longtime sales partner will now operate under the name SMARTCRM GmbH Niederlassung Salzburg (SMARTCRM GmbH subsidiary Salzburg). So, following the establishment of a Swiss subsidiary in 2008, SMARTCRM GmbH expands further its involvement in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The goal is to support the customers in Austria as well as in the greater Munich from Salzburg and thus to be responsive to the regional needs. Ralph Rastert, CEO of SMARTCRM GmbH, sees a great opportunity in the acquisition: "Our new office allows us a stronger expansion on the Austrian market. Being close to our local customers and prospective customers is a significant advantage. " Walter Moser, the longtime associate, is the Managing Director of the Austrian branch: "I look forward to my new position under the umbrella of SMARTCRM GmbH."

Intensification of the strategic partnership: HABEL relies on SMARTCRM

Since 2011, HABEL GmbH has been a cooperation partner of SMARTCRM GmbH. Today, the company is also a customer of the CRM specialist. The DMS manufacturer chose SMARTCRM as a CRM system to support its sales and marketing processes. In return, SMARTCRM GmbH uses HABEL for its document management from now on. HABEL is one of the leading software companies in the field Document Management. Since 1991, HABEL has developed, with a high level of expertise, Document Management Systems that can be customized to the customer’s requirements. The optimal integration of DMS and CRM is allowed due to the standard interface to Document Management. For instance, it is possible to call up documents in HABEL directly from SMARTCRM at the push of a button. Furthermore, data, including automatic indexing, can be transferred from SMARTCRM to HABEL with just one click. SMARTCRM is familiar with the already installed software solution by HABEL abas-ERP. Since abas Software AG is a long-term cooperation partner of SMARTCRM GmbH, the CRM manufacturer has also a standard interface. The quotations will be transferred over it to SMARTCRM as PDF and filed electronically in the relative customer file. Furthermore, SMARTCRM imports data figures and analyses them at different levels. The targeted sales activities are from now on supported by many other evaluations, for instance, the direct overview of the number of HABEL modules per customer or the order prognosis for new or existing customers.

SMARTCRM in Traffic Engineering: Sustainable Sales Support with CRM

Bremicker Verkehrstechnik GmbH & Co. KG can now look back on more than one and a half year of usage of the CRM system SMARTCRM. About 50 employees from Bremicker sales and marketing departments work with the CRM system. After choosing SMARTCRM, both the installation and the key user training were completed within a short time. Since Bremicker had already the ERP-System abas Business Suite in use, the company was eager to work with a reliable and experienced abas partner for the CRM project. As a long term cooperation partner of the abas Software AG, SMARTCRM GmbH convinced with interface expertise and a standard interface which could be customized to the company´s requirements. So Bremicker is completely satisfied by the interaction between ERP and CRM systems. The most important aim of introducing SMARTCRM was to optimize the sales processes. The previously used by Bremiker CRM system was unable to fulfill the requirements. Multiple Excel spreadsheets were still needed and customer information was stored within the different departments. This complicated a functioning customer relationship management as well as a professional maintenance of the master data along and caused unnecessary expenses. SMARTCRM changed all this and improved the processes sustainably as Roman Merk, sales manager at Bremicker confirmed: "Before every operating department kept its own treasure.
