Target Group Selection
To select a target group means to isolate a group of existing potential customers of a company that should be addressed in general or in within a specific marketing campaign. The goals and the capabilities of the company as well as the existing customer base have to be taken into account to define the target group. The purpose of the selection is the opportunity to approach the right potential customers and to minimize the back runner ratio with a marketing campaign. The definition and the selection of the target group are part of the campaign management.
