Personal Information Manager

The personal information manager - in short PIM - is a program that is usually a combination of an appointment organizer, a task scheduler, an address book, e-mail and fax functions. The tasks of the PIM include managing all the messages of the user and the management of addresses, appointments, phone numbers and notes. Diverse communication channels (e-mail, fax, telephone) can be integrated. The personal information manager summarizes in an overview all of the incoming messages for the user. To ensure that all information on PCs, notebooks and mobile devices are available, data synchronization is performed between devices.
